The chalet was our big project of the past year. Favourable weather and lots of volunteer labour made it a great success. Please thank and support our project sponsors.

Visit the photo page for some pictures from our birthday celebration held on Sunday, February 24 and out most recent work party of April 5.  If you have some interesting photos from those weekends or this season, email them as attachments to webmaster@wasiski.com. Or leave your prints in an envelope at the chalet. We'll scan them and return the prints to you.

Welcome Visitors and Potential New Members ...
Wasi Cross Country Ski Club is a small club located about 20 minutes south of North Bay, Ontario - close to Callander and Astorville. A number of trails (2 to 15 km in length) meander through a mix of hardwood and conifers. Trails are classically groomed and track set and our new chalet is open and heated with a wood stove. Hot chocolate and tea are available. Day users are most welcome or join our club!

You can use the trails and chalet all week long during the winter season. A bulletin board with trail conditions and and other announcements is posted on the building along with a thermometer and trail map. Trail maps are posted at the chalet and at each trail intersection. A sign-in sheet, maps, membership applications, and a daily fees drop box are available inside the chalet.

Check for current trail conditions and weather.

How to Get to our Club
From North Bay, take Hwy 11 south to the second exit (#329): Lake Nosbonsing Rd/Hwy 654. Turn left (heading east) towards Astorville. Follow this road about 4 km over a set of railway tracks. About 1.5 km after the tracks, you will see the ski club on your left – at 907 Lake Nosbonsing Rd.
